What do you say we start celebrating Valentine’s Day a bit early? No reason to save the love…

I remember LOVING going to school on Valentine’s Day when I was little. Despite the work leading up to the occasion (signing your name on 30 little valentines.) The hand cramping was totally worth it when it came time to eat sugar coated cupcakes and tearing into that special construction paper folder that held valentines from classmates.

And then I got a bit older and … wiser? Valentines Day became a sort of love/hate holiday for me. Love was in the air, and it seemed like everyone but me was a recipient of... the flowers, chocolates, poems, kisses & hugs. I never had a special someone on that most special of days to celebrate with.

Until now that is… And I can honestly say I can’t wait for this Valentines Day & for everyone that follows, because I’ve got a crush. You know, the kind that makes you "gaga."

Symptoms are as follows: irregular heart beating, butterflies, blushing, and weak knees/ankles etc.

I feel so blessed to be married to the love of my life for eternity. He’s the cheese to my macaroni and the bread to my butter. We’ve been through so much together since we met just 1 short year ago. I can’t believe how far we’ve come.. & We are only getting started. Husband, thanks for doing the little things. Thanks for listening to me and loving me, and for being understanding of my girlish ways.

I love you!

  1. Love this post :) Why not spread it through out the whole month, right? P.S. I have been wanting to try bountiful basket for awhile and your previous post is so convincing!

  2. I'm a big fan of your sweet, sentimental post. Dad is getting a sappy card this year because it made me cry when I read it. Valentine's Day is decidedly better when you are in love.
Your new header is the best yet!
